The Ministère de la Sécurité publique (MSP) will be conducting a test of Québec En Alerte on 15 November at 13:55. This will enable the MSP, broadcasters and telecommunications companies to check that the system is working properly and to make any necessary adjustments. It is also an opportunity to remind the public of the usefulness of this tool, which can save lives, and to raise awareness of the sound signal emitted during an alert. What’s more, the test enables people to check the compatibility of their mobile device before a real emergency situation arises.
