Class descriptions

You’ll learn about ballet technique, stretching, and conditioning, while having a lot of fun at the same time

A combination of barre exercises, stretching and light weights. It is a series of resistance and toning exercises that target the legs, arms, buttocks and core.

Class that incorporates many forms of dance that helps create a great cardio workout. Dance your way into fitness!

Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home.
Course meets legislation requirements for provincial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

A dynamic, full body workout that simultaneously combines stretching and strengthening, while engaging all muscles.

Designed to help you regain mobility, eliminate pain, and gently strengthen the full-body, Essentrics Aging Backwards® classes follow a slow pace.

The TRX Suspension Trainer is a great way to improve mobility and flexibility. The TRX allows you to unload bodyweight while doing specific movements. By unloading some bodyweight, the TRX can add resistance and leverage to a particular stretch, helping safely pull the body to a range of motion that might not otherwise be achievable.

Warrior workout is a combination of high intensity and easy to follow exercises. The classes are fun and challenging.

This class will take you through flexibility and endurance training. Expect a full spectrum yoga class, exploring movement, flexibility, and stress issues. Suitable for men of all ages and fitness levels. Yoga mat required.

Yogalates is a blend of traditional Yoga and modern Pilates. Increases your strength, flexibility and decreases stress, bringing peace to mind and body. Bare feet and yoga mat required. All levels welcome.

A mix of Latin style music and choreographed routines combining aerobic dance steps and movements to sculpt your body.

Summer 2022 schedule

This belly dance class is designed for students of all ages and levels. The techniques that will be covered include proper posture, isolations, arm & hand movements, travelling steps, shimmies, undulations and more, all while respecting the body’s natural movements without stressing the back or knees. Students will learn how to layer and combine these techniques in order to create mini routines and choreographies.

Outdoor Warrior workout is a combination of high intensity and easy follow exercises. We bring the benefits of outdoor fitness to your everyday fitness regime. The classes are fun and challenging and you will quickly see the benefits of exercising outdoors and with your peers.
