Bread & Beyond is a local organization that works closely with shelter staff to meet immediate and urgent needs for food.

The Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 10, at 12:30 pm at the Montreal West Cenotaph, located next to the Town Hall at 50 Westminster Av. South.

Prior to the ceremony, a small procession will begin at 12:15 pm from the corner of Curzon and Westminster, making its way to the Cenotaph, led by a piper.

During this presentation, Dr. Serge Gauthier, a clinical neurologist, will explain the new findings on modifiable risk factors for dementia and how addressing them can prevent or delay disease progression.

Next, he will share practical advice on how to care for a person living with dementia. He will discuss important considerations to ensure the safety and well-being of both the individual as well as the care partner to help families understand and access the resources needed to navigate this disease.
