October 1 is National Seniors Day which coincides with the United Nations International Day of Older Persons. This marks an occasion for Canadians to celebrate the profound contributions of seniors in our homes, communities and workplaces.
It is easy to show your respect and gratitude for the older adults in your life. There are many ways in which to thank the seniors in your life for all their hard work and to show them just how much they’re appreciated. Here are just a few:
• Say “thank you”
• Cook a meal together
• Treat them to a day out
• Join the Walk on Oct 1 : TAKING ACTION TOGETHER FOR INTERNATIONAL SENIORS' DAY
