Twice a year, Montreal West residents are invited to place any unwanted, yet functioning and useful items at the curb for free pickup by other members of the community. These events take place in May and September, exact dates can be found in the calendar of events. All treasures are claimed in an “as is” condition. The purpose of this event is to encourage re-using and recycling in Montreal West.

All uncollected items must be removed by homeowners that same evening. Please note that residents who fail to remove their items may be subject to a fine. The Town provides this information as a public service and assumes no responsibility for the treasures collected. At the end of Free for all day, please consider donating remaining items to local charities instead of throwing them in the garbage. Some charities such as Le Support even offer a home pick up service.
