Council Meetings

Regular council meetings are held in the Music Room of the Montreal West Town Hall located at 50 Westminster South on the last Monday of each month save exception. Special council meetings are scheduled as needed.

Regular Council meetings are held both in person at Town Hall and virtually via the Town’s YouTube channel.

The link to watch the meeting will be shared on this page as well as on our Facebook page by 8:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

Public question periods

During a regular meeting, two public question periods shall take place, the first one at the beginning after the Mayor’s report, and the second one at the end before termination of the meeting. The first question period may bear on any topic of public interest whereas the second one shall bear only on the items of the agenda.

In order to facilitate citizen participation, citizens may submit their questions for the question period through an online form on the day of the meeting. During the first and second question periods, priority will be given to questions from those present at Town Hall. Questions asked online will be answered for the remainder of the time allocated to the question period.
