Registration period

Registration for programming begins on November 2 for residents and on November 9 for non-residents.

Early bird pricing

Early bird pricing is in effect from the start of registration until the November 27 for winter programs (January to April).

Session dates

  • Fall: September 14, 2020 to December 7, 2020
  • Winter: January 11, 2021 to April 4, 2021
  • Spring: April 6, 2021 to June 14, 2021

2020-2021 Programs

Due to the evolving nature of COVID-19 and regularly changing guidelines, the Town has chosen to publish a digital version of its 2020-2021 Recreation brochure only. Announced programming will be subject to change at any time to respect public health guidelines. Up-to-date information will always be available on the website

CORRECTION: The Zumbini class listed in the brochure has been replaced by Zumba Kids Jr.

General policies & procedures

  • Most programs have limited registration and are on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Registration fees and/or programs are not transferable from one person to another.
  • Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration, unless otherwise stated.
  • Please note that you may register for a program only during the appropriate registration period.
  • Applicable taxes must be added to adult programs.
  • Please note that a $25 service charge will be applied on all payments returned by the bank.
  • We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Interac or cheques made payable to the Town of Montreal West.
  • For March Break Madness, payments made after February 2nd, 2020 must be made by cash, Interac or credit card.
  • Participants are fully responsible for any facility and equipment supplied by the Town of Montreal West.
  • If the program is canceled if minimum registration has not been obtained, the full amount will be reimbursed.
  • Please note that programs are subject to change and cancellation. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Programs that are more than halfway done at time of registration will only be prorated to a maximum reduction of 50%.
  • Certain programs are not eligible for early bird pricing (older adult fitness, chess, babysitting, Captain Catalyst)

Fees

Resident fee

Montreal West residents, as well as residents of Cote Saint-Luc and Hampstead are included in the resident fees for Town activities (excluding the CRA Programs).

Non-resident fee

Everyone living outside the perimeter of Montreal West, Cote Saint-Luc or Hampstead is included under non-resident.

Discount for 3rd child

The third child, and further additional children in the same family and attending the same program (residing at the same address with proof of residency) will receive a 10% discount on the program fee.

Refund policy

General refund policy

Refunds will only be accepted 2 weeks into the program and will only be considered upon receipt of a written request. After two weeks of the start of the program, no refund will be given. All refunds will be subject to an administrative charge of $45.

Refunds due to medical reasons

Any refunds requested for medical reasons will be considered at any time, provided a valid doctor’s note has been provided with the written request. If granted, the refund will be pro-rated on the unused portion of the fee and a 10% administrative charge will be applied in all cases.
