Located by the arena and Hodgson Field, the Montreal West municipal pool is the perfect spot to cool down on a hot summer day and to take part in one of our fitness or swimming classes.
The pool will be open until September 13.
For Family and Senior Swim, the pool will be divided into 6 zones, some in the deep end. The perimeter of each zone must be respected at all times. A designated deck area will be assigned and must be respected.
Lap swim: Pool reserved for lap swim. Autonomous swimmers only. 6 lanes with individual swimmers or multiple swimmers from the same family. The deep end is open for reservation and may be used by adults only for flotation and relaxation.
Senior swim: Swimming reserved for adults of 65 years and over. The deep end is open for reservation and may be used for flotation and relaxation. Pool divided into 6 zones with 4-6 people per zone depending on reservations.
Public swim: Swimming for all ages. No swimming lane available. The deep is available for all to use the diving boards. Pool divided into 6 zones with 4-6 people per zone depending on reservations.
Wading pool: Reserved for families with children 6 and under. Two families can reserve a 1 hour block at the same time.
Due to the restricted capacity we must adhere to at the pool, reservations of pool space must be done ahead of time to allow for access. Starting June 26, reservations can be made online via the Amilia platform or by calling the pool directly at 514-489-6472 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To ensure that reservations are fairly distributed, only 1 reservation per day is allowed per family member with a maximum of 3 per week and reservations can be made up to a week in advance. Pool access is limited to Montreal West residents only.
In order to help us keep track of patrons coming to the pool, please make a reservation that includes every member of the family that will be attending family swim times. Although we will do our best to guarantee space for additional family members as walk-ins, we can only guarantee a spot for those who have actually made a reservation.
Reservations will be made in one hour blocks. Each block will allow for 45 minutes of swimming and 15 minutes for the pool staff to exit and enter new patrons and sanitize all the necessary equipment and surfaces.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations or missed reservations. Credits will be issued if the pool is forced to close due to inclement weather, malfunctions or other situations out of our control, bit only for the pay as you go fee structure.
Membership will not guarantee frequent, regular access to the pool and there will be no refunds.
The pool will be reserved for Montreal West residents only and we reserve the right to ask for proof of residency and picture ID from all adults.
