The regular season is set to begin on Monday, June 28th. With the start of our regular season there are going to be a few changes here at the pool. Firstly, we will be slightly increasing capacity during our lap swim and open swim sessions as of the 28th. Open swim capacity will be increased from the previous maximum of 42 to a maximum of 48. In addition, two individuals from separate households will now be allowed to share a lane during lap swim. Individuals from different households will start at opposite ends and only stop on their assigned sides to comply with social distancing. Because of this increased capacity, please be sure to include all family members that will be coming when registering for lap swim.
Lap swim: Pool reserved for lap swim. Autonomous swimmers only. 6 lanes with two swimmers or multiple swimmers from the same family. The deep end is open for reservation and may be used by adults only for flotation and relaxation.
Mixed lap Swim & Public Swim: Pool will have 4 zones for family swimming and 2 lanes reserved for lap swimming. The deep end will be available for all to use the diving boards.
Public swim: Swimming for all ages. No swimming lane available. The deep is available for all to use the diving boards. Pool divided into 6 zones with a maximum of 48 people allowed entry at once.
Wading pool: Reserved for families with children 6 and under. Two families can reserve a 1 hour block at the same time.
Due to the restricted capacity we must adhere to at the pool, reservations of pool space must be done ahead of time to allow for access. Starting May 30, reservations can be made online via the Amilia platform.
To ensure that reservations are fairly distributed, Lap swim times will have limited reservations: 1 reservation per day per family with a maximum of 4 per week and reservations can be made up to a week in advance. If space allows, walks ins are allowed that do not count against your reservation cap. Pool access is limited to Montreal West residents only, dual pieces of ID may be required to confirm residency. Non-residence found registering will be subject to a 45 $ refund administration fee.
In order to help us keep track of patrons coming to the pool, please make a reservation that includes every member of the family that will be attending family swim times. Although we will do our best to guarantee space for additional family members as walk-ins, we can only guarantee a spot for those who have actually made a reservation.
Reservations will be made in 55 minute blocks. Each block will allow for 45 minutes of swimming and 10 minutes for the pool staff to exit and enter new patrons and sanitize all the necessary equipment and surfaces.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations or missed reservations. Credits will be issued if the pool is forced to close due to inclement weather, malfunctions or other situations out of our control, but only for the pay as you go fee structure.
Membership will not guarantee frequent, regular access to the pool and there will be no refunds.
The pool will be reserved for Montreal West residents only and we reserve the right to ask for proof of residency and picture ID from all adults.
