In the event of a major emergency, be informed!

The Town of Montreal West uses an automated emergency notification system called CodeRED. In the event of a major emergency, the CodeRED system provides the Town with the ability to reach and inform residents of a potential danger within minutes.

Registered residents will receive important information, including possible procedures to follow when applicable. This information can be transmitted by telephone, email, and/or SMS text messages.

Potential emergencies may include major fires, gas leaks, environmental disasters, road closures, evacuation notices, and water supply problems such as boil water advisories. This system can be used to notify the entire Town at large or to pinpoint a single street or area of affected residents. For example, certain residents on a street could be notified of a water supply problem due to a water main rupture.

Please note that you will see 866-419-5000 on your call display should an emergency call be made to you on behalf of the Town.

If you are new to CodeRED, create an account.

When signing up, it is recommended to create an account as you’ll be able to quickly update it should you move or change your contact information. Remember that entering your address is important as it’ll allow us to contact you for specific alerts in your area.

If you have an existing account that you would like to update (change your phone number, add an email address, update your address, etc.) then click on Login in the top right corner and enter your login information.

Once on the Login page, you may reset your password by clicking on Forgot password?

Those who no longer wish to receive these emergency alerts must opt out online at https://info.onsolve.com/Notification-Opt-Out.html.
