A watermain break at the corners of Avon and Ballantyne S. requires repair work. Public Works will be on-site on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weather permitting).
Road closures and traffic impact
- Avon will remain open with one lane in each direction.
- Ballantyne S. will be closed between Avon and Carnarvon (open to local traffic only).
- Detours will be in place and clearly marked with signage.
Drivers can expect slowdowns, please plan your trips accordingly.
Potential water service interruption
Please note that buildings on Avon (between Brock S. and Ballantyne S.) and on Ballantyne S. (between Broughton and Avon) may experience an interruption in water service during the work.
