The City of Montreal will be carrying out maintenance work on the water supply network in Montreal West. Although every precaution is being taken, these operations could cause a slight discoloration of your drinking water around April 2, 2025.
Residents throughout Town may notice that the water pressure is reduced and/or that the water is murky or discoloured for 24-48 hours following the intervention. If this is the case, please let the cold water run (preferably the bath faucet, otherwise the kitchen faucet) until it becomes clear and colorless. If the tap has an aerator, first unscrew the tip to remove it.
To prevent staining clothing or damaging an appliance, be sure the water runs clear before doing your laundry or using an appliance that uses water.
