Each year, the Town of Montreal West undertakes different infrastructure projects across Town. Here you will find a list of the major road work projects under way.
As with any large-scale project, there will be some inconvenience during the work and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We are convinced that the short-term inconvenience will be minimal compared to the long-term benefits.

September 21, 2021: notice to residents of the area
A new gas leak occurred during the infrastructure work on Fenwick Street on September 21, 2021. The safety protocol was immediately put in place by the Fire Department (SIM) and the leak was contained very quickly. All parties involved are working to ensure the safe completion of the project.
Work began on July 6, 2021. Temporary water lines will be installed and connected to all affected homes. Excavation will begin after the temporary water lines are installed.
The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
During this time, the street sections affected by the work will be closed to traffic, especially during the day. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
