At a Council meeting held on April 24, 2023, the Town Council adopted the first draft by-Law entitled: “By-law amending Zoning by-law No. 2020-002”.
The purpose of the draft by-Law is to :
- modify an article in order to introduce a new authorized material for fences;
- insert an article concerning the types of prohibited fences;
- insert articles concerning the authorization of privacy screens, their height, and authorized materials.
A public consultation meeting will be held on May 11, 2023 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall (50 Westminster Avenue South). During this meeting the Mayor, or a member of the Council designated by him, will explain the draft by-law and the consequences of their adoption and will hear from those wishing to be heard.
