Traffic will be obstructed on August 7, 2024, as of 7 a.m. on Westminster Avenue South. The southbound lane of Westminster will be blocked between Ainslie Road and Avon Road to in order to undertake the inspection of a sewer main.
Work should be completed by the end of the day at which point the southbound lane on Westminster will reopen.
Note: The northbound lane on Westminster will remain open during the work.
Vehicular Traffic
It is recommended that drivers wishing to access Avon from Westminster North follow these instructions:

- Turn right from Northview Street onto Connaught Avenue.
- Turn left from Connaught Avenue onto Sherbrooke Street.
- Turn right from Sherbrooke Street onto Elmhurst.
- Continue on Elmhurst until you reach Avon Road.
Detour signage will be present to ensure a secure traffic flow. We suggest that you plan your trips accordingly. Drivers should expect slowdowns.

The Town Hall parking lot will be accessible via the Easton entrance.
