With reports of a snowstorm on its way, we would like to take the opportunity to remind residents to please respect parking restrictions during snow removal operations.
Streets
The Town installs signs prohibiting the parking of any vehicle on specific streets until snow operations are completed.
Vehicles parked on streets that are being cleared slow down snow operations. These vehicles will be towed and ticketed $196.
Sidewalks
Sidewalk snowplows need the entire width of the sidewalk to safely clear the snow.
Please park your car at least 6 inches (15 cm) from the curb to allow for safe passage of the plows and ensure that all waste bins are placed out of the way of the snow removal equipment, specifically the sidewalk plows.
