Within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and following the directive adopted by the provincial government in March 2020, municipal council meetings will be held virtually until further notice.

The council meeting will be live streamed to Youtube. The link to watch the meeting will be shared on the Council meetings page on our website as well as on our Facebook page at 8:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

First question period

In order to facilitate citizen participation, citizens are invited to submit their questions for the question periods through the form on this page. The form for the first question period will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the day of the council meeting and may bear on any topic of public interest.

Submitted questions will be read by the Mayor. An allotted period of 45 minutes will be set aside for answering questions from the public, after which Council will no longer answer questions.

Second question period

Citizens may now submit their questions for the second question period. The form for the second question period will be available on this page during the meeting. Questions asked during the second question period must pertain only to items on the agenda.

Instructions

  1. Citizens must identify themselves by providing their full name (first and last name) and address. If they fail to identify themselves properly, the question will not be submitted to the council.
  2. The question cannot use violent, offensive, or disrespectful language against the council or any person.
  3. A maximum of two questions per person will be accepted.
