Family fun day on September 13

Thanks to a grant from Heritage Canada, we are planning part 2 of our Canada Day celebrations! A variety of in-person and virtual activities will take place throughout Town on September 13. Please respect physical distancing at all times.

DUATHLON

Families and individuals can register to the annual duathlon (run, swim, run). The event is free for residents. Register on Amilia. Other activities to take place at Hodgson Field. 

POP-UP ENTERTAINMENT

Pop up musical appearances (Kattam, Buffalo Hat Singers, The Other Side of Cool) at different locations throughout the day. 

12:30 – 1:25 p.m.: Kattam

An incredible multicultural adventure! Accompanied by his monkey, Takoum, percussionist Kattam never fails to enrol his audience.

VIRTUAL ACTIVITIES

  • 10 a.m. Live Zumba class on Zoom 

    The class will be live streamed on September 13 at 10 a.m. 

  • 11:30 a.m. Live Intro to Manga on Zoom

    The class will be live streamed on April’s Youtube page on September 13 at 11:30 a.m.
