As part of measures undertaken to improve Montréal-Ouest station safety, exo will build a temporary platform north of the station, as well as new pedestrian access points.
This addition will help reduce foot traffic on the central platform and alleviate pressure on the Elmhurst crossing for customers going to or from the station’s north side.
Temporary obstructions are to be expected at the Elmhurst crossing.
Work Description
Construction of a temporary wooden platform 150 metres in length.
Schedule
From Monday, October 14 to Friday, December 6, 2019
- Weekdays: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Weekends: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m
Hours may vary depending on site requirements. In exceptional situations, work may extend beyond scheduled hours should circumstances require it.
Possible Inconveniences
Despite all efforts to minimize this work’s impact on residents’ quality of life, certain inconveniences are to be expected such as heavy equipment noise, dust, vibrations, etc.
