We are pleased to offer access to the exterior pool this summer. However, to adhere to the restrictions and guidelines put in place by the province, there are some significant changes to the pool this summer. The pool will be reserved for Montreal West residents only and we reserve the right to ask for proof of residency and picture ID from all adults.

Membership will not guarantee frequent, regular access to the pool and there will be no refunds.

Sanitary measures

  • Maintain a 2-meter distance from any non-family members while in or around the pool (this includes children)
  • Follow the marked path around the pool at all times
  • Shower with soap before entering the pool
  • Changing room are closed, arrive dressed in your bathing suit
  • Limited access to bathrooms
  • Wash your hands at the entrance of the facility
  • Answer COVID-19 related questions before admission
  • No programs at the moment
  • Limited access to equipment, please bring your own swimming aids if needed
  • Reduced pool capacity

Reserve your spot

Due to the restricted capacity we must adhere to at the pool, reservations of pool space must be done ahead of time to allow for access. Starting June 26, reservations can be made online via the Amilia platform or by calling the pool directly at 514-489-6472 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To ensure that reservations are fairly distributed, only 1 reservation per day is allowed per family member with a maximum of 3 per week and reservations can be made up to a week in advance. Pool access is limited to Montreal West residents only.

Reservations will be made in one hour blocks. Each block will allow for 45 minutes of swimming and 15 minutes for the pool staff to exit and enter new patrons and sanitize all the necessary equipment and surfaces.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations or missed reservations. Credits will be issued if the pool is forced to close due to inclement weather, malfunctions or other situations out of our control, bit only for the pay as you go fee structure. 

Pool schedule

The pool will be open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The wading pool will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

For Family and Senior Swim, the pool will be divided into 6 zones, some in the deep end. The perimeter of each zone must be respected at all times. A designated deck area will be assigned and must be respected.

Maximum pool capacity

  • Lap swim: 8 -12 swimmers
  • Family/Senior swim: 24-30 swimmers
  • Wading pool: 2 families

These numbers are approximative as capacity will change based on the amount of people from the same families that reserve pool space at the same time and can change in accordance with government directives. 

Activity descriptions

Lap swim: Pool reserved for lap swim. Autonomous swimmers only. 6 lanes with individual swimmers or multiple swimmers from the same family. The deep end may be used for flotation and relaxation.

Senior swim: Swimming reserved for adults of 65 years and over. The deep end may be used for flotation and relaxation. Pool divided into 6 zones with 4-6 people per zone depending on reservations.

Public swim: Swimming for all ages. No swimming lane available. Diving boards available. Pool divided into 6 zones with 4-6 people per zone depending on reservations.

Wading pool: Reserved for families with children 6 and under. Two families can reserve a 1 hour block at the same time.
